Came across this cell phone tracker the other day and have been playing with it. Only runs when I actually run the program AND it can find a satellite, or vice versa. Did you know those GPS satellites are 12,550 miles out?  And what about this nifty image showing the system in operation. The 'dark' ones can 'see' you. Pretty damn cool... There are currently 30 'healthy' operational GPS Satellites... So that interactive map on your right will show where I am, if I am running the application or where I was last time I had it on. (smile) There's even a way for someone to text my phone and turn on the application! Won't wonders ever cease? |
