Services For Hire
You want to hire me to photograph? All good with me. Here are my plans and rates:
#1. I pay models for certain projects that I have in mind and I get a full release. (Rates entirely negotiable.) I pay all expenses*. These are few and far between as they have to be something I'm doing for future profit or personal satisfaction.
#2. I shoot TFP's (Trade For Prints) with full releases, labor free and I pay the expenses*. I only do these when the budget allows and I'm asking the model to sit.
#3. I shoot TFP's (Trade For Prints) with full releases, labor free and the model pays the expenses*. I do these when time allows and the model is asking for my services for their own needs. Their use of the images are limited, but will be discussed and agreed to before shooting. (Normally for portfolios and other self promotions or simply because they want to be on my site or have images to share with friends and family.)
#4. I shoot for hire at $50.00 for the first hour of actual shooting and $35.00 for each hour thereafter, plus expenses*. (Set up, tear down, and travel time are not charged.) I've abandoned the practice of "packages" because almost everyone wants to deviate from them. If there are no extraneous expenses*, initial shooting costs run around $25.00 per roll which provides proofs to you in the standard size for the negative format used.
For example:
One hour and one roll would be $75.00, three hours and five rolls would be $245.00.
Enlargments are priced on size and quantity of your chosen image(s).
No photo releases are asked for or signed unless the client requests that an image(s) be displayed on this or any other web site and is (are) approved by me.
{ IMPORTANT: In these four previous levels, all negatives are my property and are retained by me. }
#5. I rarely shoot and give up the negatives and full rights to my images. This COSTS the client but is sometimes necessary for corporate work or for those that require that kind of privacy.
*Expenses: Include but are not limited to: film, processing, postage, travel, studio rental, and any cost related to producing and delivering the photographs.
Enlargements, copies, duplications, etc. are priced by the actual cost of producing them with a small profit to cover my handling. What you want determines what it costs. Ask and I'll work up the price for you.
Under eighteen years old? You have to be eighteen or older to hire me for TFP or for straight hire. I'll shoot younger, but a parent or legal guardian must do the hiring, must be in attendence during the shoot, and the model will be appropriately attired.
Eighteen and older: There are no limitations to what I will photograph. I'll shoot anything, anyhow, anywhere. (I'm easy that way.) From mild to WILD, there is nothing that limits, but your own vision and imagination.
I am a Professional and always conduct myself in that manner. I respect all boundries and "conditions" set and agreed upon. I respect your privacy. I do not date models or clients. There are NO exceptions.
You may certainly bring anyone or have anyone with you that you desire for meetings and during the shoot. If you don't have a clear idea what you might want as an image, we can meet and discuss it, email or telephone until you do. I factor your personality, dress, demeanor, hobbies, what you like to do, and what you want to achieve in a photograph. I know you'll be pleased with whatever we shoot. I'm good that way.
I am based out of Myrtle Beach, SC and I specialize in "On Location" shooting. We meet, set up, shoot, on whatever location we mutually decide on. Whether it's your home, a friend's home, a Park, a stream, the beach, the Mall, a side street, a back yard, or up a tree, I can "get" the shot.
